Check out what the people are saying about Christianson Guide Service…

I have been fishing with Cory Christianson at least once a year for about 12 years now. When I first met Cory, my youngest son Eric was 11, as was my nephew that we had with us. I was so impressed with how patient Cory was with the two young boys, helping them learn how to fish for Walleye and Bass. He encouraged them when they missed a fish and gave them helpful pointers on how to set the hook so they wouldn’t miss them the next time. We caught so many fish that day on Northern Lights Lake, including a couple 30 plus inch Walleye and a 39 inch Northern. Eric, now 23, still looks forward to our drive up the Gunflint Trail to meet Cory for our day of fishing on “Sag” each summer.

Although fishing is almost always amazing up on “Sag”, anyone who has fished knows that Mother Nature does not always cooperate on the days we fish. On those days when the fishing is a tougher, Cory really shines. He really works hard to find the right place on the lake to catch fish given the current conditions. Cory always keeps a positive attitude and is very easy to talk to.
Two years ago I talked a buddy of mine from here in St. Louis into driving up to fish for a day with Cory in the fall. At first he thought we were little nuts to do that. He caught a 10 lb. Walleye that day. The next year he caught a 12 lb. Walleye. This year he called me to make sure I had Cory booked for our day in the fall, he’s pretty sure he’s catching a 14 lb. Walleye this year. I think this year is going to be my year.

If you want to catch fish and have a great day, Cory Christianson’s your guide!

I have been fishing with Cory in the Boundary Waters area for years and have always had a great experience. His fishing expertise in that time has increased from very good to great and he is not afraid to share what he has learned. He seems to know every spot on the lake and we always catch fish. My personal best trophy walleye and bass were caught with Cory guiding. He is also very personable and entertaining throughout the day. Highly recommended!

I've had the pleasure of knowing and fishing with Cory for many years and have always known him to possess a unique ability to not only catch fish but to understand their movements and habits, as well as the eco system they live in. It's this understanding that separates good guides from great ones. Cory is always positive, likable, and at times funny but always professional .

I have been using Christianson Guide Service for over 10 years now and each time is a great experience. With many memories of the Gunflint Trail and out on the boat, I credit many of them to Cory Christianson. He knows how to catch fish and cook them, enjoy the outdoors, and adapt to everyones own fishing style.

Thank you Christianson family for the memories!

Good luck on those lakes!

Emily ForsethI've caught both the biggest Walleye (31”), and the biggest Lake Trout (13lbs, 32”) I've ever caught with Cory as my Guide. Both of those moments will be something I look back on for the rest of my life! Cory not only takes you to catch fish, he teaches you about fishing, so you leave knowing more than when you started. Cory has a wealth of knowledge about fishing, the area, and it's history and really enjoys sharing it with others.
